Greenwich Choral Society's Spring Concert To Feature Special Guests
The concert will celebrate the legacy of American popular music, featuring arrangements of classic swing jazz and Broadway tunes.
GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Choral Society will present its spring concert, The Great American Songbook, on Saturday, May 3, at 4 p.m. at Manhattanville College’s O’Byrne Chapel, located at 2900 Purchase St. in Purchase, NY.
The concert will celebrate the legacy of American popular music, featuring arrangements of classic swing jazz and Broadway tunes from the 20th century to the present. Works by composers such as Rodgers and Hammerstein, Rodgers and Hart, George and Ira Gershwin, Jerome Kern, Cole Porter, and Johnny Mercer will be performed.
The 90-voice Greenwich Choral Society will be joined by the Bryan Reeder Orchestra, along with guest soloists Hannah Gill and Chris Norton. The performance will be conducted by Christine Howlett, music director of the Greenwich Choral Society.

Tickets are priced at $50, $40, and $25. Admission is free for children, K-12 students, and college students with valid student ID. Free student tickets must be reserved by phone at 203-622-5136.
