'Dinner with a Cause' to Honor Building 1 Community

From St. Catherine of Siena Church: Building 1 Community (formerly Neighbor's Link") has been serving a very special community in Stamford. "In 2011, we opened our doors to become the welcoming point of entry for newcomers from all parts of the world. On that day, immigrants who relied on a patchwork of services in a system that didn’t fully understand their needs - and those who went without any help at all - discovered a place that was created with them in mind. Since then, thousands of Stamford area immigrants and non-immigrants have come together to build one stronger community."

The St. Catherine of Siena Social Justice Committee invites you to its May 18, 2017 Dinner with a Cause featuring Catalina Horak, the Executive Director of Building 1 Community (formerly Neighbor’s Link Stamford). Ms Horak will explain its mission to bring passionate people together to help immigrants and their families succeed in the community.
