Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?
Sean is a truly exceptional person, whom I have had the pleasure of watching grow into a fine young man. I was able to attend the Greenwich High School football game last Friday night and there was Sean No. 42 one of the first on the field hyping up his teammates and the crowd. He is a long snapper and takes great pride in perfecting his snaps, but he also truly epitomizes what a team player is. He is always looking out for his teammates.
Sean is a dedicated to his studies with an incredible work ethic. But, what I think makes Sean stand out is how empathetic, caring and compassionate he is. Five years ago in January 2018, Sean's mother had two strokes in her spine and has Vascular Myelopathy, causing paralysis from the waist down. While this was sobering and life-altering, Sean has become a great support to his Mom in so many ways.
I have watched this circumstance expand his capacity to care about others in the most extraordinary and heart-warming way. I am truly so proud of him.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?
Sean is upbeat, witty and always ready to help others.
Keep up the great work, Sean!
