Flu And Pneumonia Vaccines Available Soon In Greenwich
The Greenwich Department of Health released its flu and pneumonia vaccine clinic schedule.
GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Department of Health has released its flu and pneumonia vaccine clinic schedule for the fall.
The schedule is as follows. All clinics will be held at Greenwich Town Hall, 101 Field Point Road, on the ground floor. Those 65 and older who receive shots will get a free tote bag.
- Oct. 9, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Oct. 16, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Oct. 17, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Oct. 23, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Oct. 29, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. (no tote bag offered)
Fees for no insurance or insurance the department cannot accept:

- Seasonal influenza vaccine: $35 (12 years or older)
- High dose vaccine: $65 (65 years old or older)
- Pneumonia (PPSV23): $130
- Pneumonia (PCV20): $270
Cash or checks must be made out to the "Town of Greenwich." Credit cards are not accepted.

Aetna, Magnacare and Connecticare are not accepted.
Short sleeves and attendance no earlier than 15 minutes before the start of the clinic will be appreciated. The public is encouraged to call the flu line at 203-622-3774 prior to attending any clinics. All changes to the set schedule will be recorded and publicized to the best of the department’s capability.
