Following Morning Crash, Greenwich PD Charge Driver with DWI
The crash occurred about 8:30 a.m. in Riverside.
A 32-year-old motorist is facing a driving while intoxicated charge following a Saturday morning crash on East Putnam Avenue in Riverside.
The driver was arrested after Greenwich Police interviewed him and administered field sobriety tests following the crash that was reported about 8:30 a.m. Feb. 6, according to a police report. No one was injured.
Police arrested Evan D. Levine, of Shawandassee Road, Waterford, with driving while intoxicated, second offense, and following too close.
Levine was released after posting a $250 bond. He’s scheduled to appear Feb. 16 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
