Clinton, a longtime resident of nearby Chappaqua, N.Y. in Westchester County, has been spotted several times in Greenwich at various restaurants and fundraisers over the years.
"I know people who have seen him and spoken to him, and they say he's very, very nice and engages with people," First Selectman Fred Camillo said.
Hinoki offers tapas-style Asian cuisine known as "Izakaya" with an exclusive chef's table experience known as "Omakase" in a casual, fine dining atmosphere. The restaurant opened in 2021.
