Summer is almost here and with the end of winter comes the shaking off of the winter coat and a fresh look at life. So, if you're looking for ways to spruce up the home and give it a new feel, the Greenwich Library has got you covered.
The library is currently operating the Lending Art program, a system that operates much like book lending, but for paintings and prints. Greenwich residents or employees who work int the town can take home two paintings for six weeks at a time.
"It's a very popular and wonderful program," said librarian June Tanaka. "And after you bring a painting back, your wall looks so bare, so you have to come in and get a new painting! Lending Art lets you check out how art will look around your home on a trial basis."
