Glastonbury Election 2015 Results: An Incumbent Redux
Here are the results of the Tuesday elections.

Glastonbury Republicans continue their reign on the Town Council and Board of Education.
In Tuesday’s election voters returned all nine incumbent council members, as well as three of five incumbents on the school board.
The Republican edge on the council will be 6-3 as all six of candidates elected, including, Chairman Stewart “Chip” Beckett III, who was the top vote-getter, according to The Courant.

Incumbent Republican Kurt P. Cavanaugh was returned for an 11th term. Other GOP incumbents elected were Whit C. Osgood, Lawrence Byar, Karen Boisvert and William T. Finn. Successful Democrats were Thomas Gullotta, Jill Barry and Cara T. Keefe.
Winning school board candidates were Republican Chairwoman Susan Karp, Vice Chairman Jeremy Grieveson and newcomer Lillian Tanski. On the Democratic side, incumbent Lisa Furbush and newcomer Julie Thompson were winners giving Republicans a 5-3 edge over the Democrats.
