Greenwich Constituents Voice Concerns on State Economy

State Rep. Fred Camillo held an office hours session with local residents.

About 30 constituents met with State Rep. Fred Camillo (R-151) during an office hours session Tuesday night.

Camillo gave residents an overview of the upcoming Legislative session, answered their questions about economic issues including tax increases and the business climate in Connecticut. He also provided an overview of the state’s fiscal condition, and listened to their concerns about Metro-North Railroad and its stations in town.

Camillo said, “Residents have legitimate concerns about the current fiscal climate of our state. I have heard time and time again from my constituents, particularly retirees, that although they have families here they are finding they can no longer afford to stay here.”

Camillo added, “One of my favorite parts of my job is being able to take concerns such as these and voicing them in Hartford. I will continue to advocate for them.”
