New Health Education Series Being Offered By Greenwich Hospital
The series will offer free, in-person sessions this spring at Greenwich Hospital.
GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich Hospital has announced a new educational series aimed at promoting community health and wellness.
The “Wellness Wednesday” initiative will offer free, in-person sessions this spring, featuring medical experts discussing topics related to prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various health conditions.
The events will take place at the Noble Conference Center inside Greenwich Hospital, located at 5 Perryridge Road.

“We believe that empowering our community with knowledge is essential to promoting long-term health and well-being,” said Greenwich Hospital President Robert Blenderman in a news release. “These educational events provide an opportunity for individuals to engage with medical experts, ask questions and take proactive steps toward better health.”

- April 16, 2025, 5:30–7 p.m. Women’s Pelvic Health: Understanding Urogynecology
Speaker: Dr. Sarah Andiman, urogynecologist at Greenwich Hospital and assistant professor of obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive sciences at Yale School of Medicine. The session will address pelvic floor disorders such as bladder leakage, pelvic pain, and prolapse, along with treatment options. - May 7, 2025, 5:30–7 p.m. Parkinson’s Disease, Essential Tremor, and HIFU Treatment
Speakers: Dr. Alice Rusk, neurologist, and Dr. Zion Zibly, neurosurgeon, both of Greenwich Hospital and Yale School of Medicine. Attendees will learn about advances in neurological treatments, including high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), available through the hospital’s Long Ridge Medical Center. - June 25, 2025, 5:30–7 p.m. Prostate Cancer Explained: Prevention, Diagnosis, and Treatment
Speaker: Dr. Michael Karellas, urologic oncologist at Greenwich Hospital and assistant professor at Yale School of Medicine. The session will explore prostate cancer risk factors, screening options, and advanced treatments.
