Greenwich Mom 'Is Our Superwoman,' Daughter Says: Meet Ellen Lavallee!

GREENWICH, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

What makes your Mom extra special?
My mom is our superwoman! She's the most selfless person I know. From changing six diapers to making sure we have everything we need she has always gone above and beyond. People always say home is a person not a place and my mom is my home! We have always called her nurse mom between all of us getting the stomach bug or crazy viruses we brought home from college, she was always right by our side being nurse mom! Everyone that knows her would agree she is a super mom!
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
Being a mom is hard work, and my mom makes it seem like it's second nature. Between nurse mom, taxi driver mom, cheerleader mom and everything in between, she's always right there!
