The digital system, ClerkXpress, was developed by the technology company [s]Cube and officially launched June 1. Town officials said the platform is aimed at streamlining the pet licensing process and improving access to services.

Budkins described the interface as intuitive and accessible, noting she tested it herself.
"The new online system is designed to be user-friendly and intuitive, ensuring a smooth experience for all users. In fact, it's so simple that even your dog could navigate it," she said. "As a dog parent, I registered my dog from my iPhone. Once registered, renewing your dog's license or registering for a new license is a breeze — the process is fast and straightforward."
First Selectman Fred Camillo praised the launch as part of a broader modernization initiative.
"I want to thank the Town Clerk, Jackie Budkins, and her great team for establishing a new online dog licensing portal. It’s part of a continuing effort to get more and more things online and save people trips to Town Hall," Camillo said in a prepared statement. "As a dog lover and owner, I will be using this new, convenient online service."
Haileab Samuel, CEO of [s]Cube, said the company was pleased to support Greenwich’s efforts.
"We’re very excited to launch ClerkXpress in the Town of Greenwich, as we continue to expand our services and solutions throughout the state of Connecticut," Samuel said. "This fully automated online platform will make it much easier for residents to register their dogs, renew existing dog licenses and provide efficiency and savings for Greenwich’s Town Clerk Office."
More information on the service is available through the Town Clerk’s page on the official Greenwich website.
