Greenwich Public Schools Appoints Finance Supervisor
Pat Maranan, the current Internal Auditor for the Town of Greenwich, was appointed to the position.

Greenwich, CT - Monday, May 2, 2016 – Managing Director of Operations James Hricay has announced the appointment of Patricia (Pat) Maranan as the Finance Supervisor for the Greenwich Public Schools (GPS), effective May 17, 2016. A Town of Greenwich employee since 2001, Ms. Maranan currently serves as the Internal Auditor for the Town, working in the Comptroller’s Office.
Mr. Hricay said, “Ms. Maranan’s fifteen years with the Town in positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of accounting, payroll, finance, auditing and risk management provide solid experience for the position of Finance Supervisor. Her knowledge of the Town’s systems and processes will ensure a smooth transition. We look forward to welcoming Ms. Maranan to the GPS team!”

Bio Brief: Patricia (Pat) Maranan
Patricia Maranan has been an Internal Auditor for the Town of Greenwich since 2012, auditing financial records and recommending improvements for greater financial control and operating efficiency. She began working for the Town in 2001 as a Payroll Processor. After four years, in 2005, she moved to the position of Financial Analyst, assisting in the development of the annual operating and capital budgets and preparing financial reports and analyses. Prior to working for the Town of Greenwich, Ms. Maranan worked as a Junior Accountant for Velocity Express in
White Plains, NY (1997-2001.)

Ms. Maranan received an associate of science degree in accounting from Westchester Community College in 2003, and a bachelor of science degree from Manhattanville College in business administration and organizational management in 2005.
