Just like dozens of Greenwich families who are moving into a new home, so is the Greenwich Association of Realtors (GAR).
GAR's Executive Vice President Theresa Hatton told Greenwich Patch, "It's a great location in the center of town and within walking distance forma number of our members."
Hatton said the GAR's five-member staff expects to move into the former Pierre Deux home furnishings shop at 40 E. Elm St., located at the corner of East Elm and Mason streets, "at the end of August, beginning of September."
Hatton added, "We started construction this week."
Until then, the Realtors will continue operating in their office in the western end of town on Old Post Road #3.
"We moved here five years ago from Lafayette Place, at the top of The Avenue. We were subleasing from a hedge fund that needed our space," Hatton explained.
"We're excited about the move," Hatton said.
