Greenwich Roommates Face Charges Following Argument

One man is accused of kicking a door during the weekend incident.

An argument between roommates has led to the arrest of two Greenwich men.

According to Greenwich Police, there was an altercation between the men shortly before 2 a.m. Feb. 13 in their South Water Street residence.

The fracas apparently awakened two other roommates, according to a police report. One of the men is accused of damaging a bedroom door by kicking it, according to the report.

Spencer J. Chakedis, 43, was issued a misdemeanor summons for second-degree breach of peace and released on a promise to appear in court.

The second roommate, identified as Edward S. Lutz, 45, was arrested on charges of third-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, interfering with an officer and refusal to be fingerprinted. Lutz is accused of refusing to get into a police car following his arrest, according to a police report. His bond was set at $1,000.
