Greenwich Schools Receive Over 100 Grocery Gift Cards To Support Families In Need
Superintendent of Greenwich Public Schools Dr. Toni Jones recently delivered gift cards to local nonprofit Neighbor to Neighbor.

GREENWICH, CT — A community effort across local grocery stores has raised $2,700 to fight childhood hunger, resulting in the donation of 108 grocery gift cards from Greenwich Public Schools to the local nonprofit Neighbor to Neighbor.
The gift cards — each valued at $25 — were provided to GPS through a partnership with Gift Card Bank and the Nourishing Neighbors campaign, supported by customer donations at the Greenwich and Riverside ACME stores and the Old Greenwich Kings store.
Last week, Superintendent of GPS Dr. Toni Jones delivered the gift cards to Neighbor to Neighbor Executive Director K. Brent Hill at the organization’s facility on Putnam Avenue.
