Greenwich Teen Charged with Violating Order of Protection

Greenwich Police say the suspect tried to fight a store manager who asked him to leave the business.

A Greenwich teen who entered the food market in violation of a court order of protection obtained by a store employee was arrested Sunday night.

According to a Greenwich Police report, the suspect is accused of entering the Citarella food market at 600 W. Putnam Ave. about 8:48 p.m. Jan. 3, “in violation of a current and active protective order.” The suspect “attempted to fight the manager of Citarella when asked to leave the establishment,” officers wrote in the report.

Hector Felipe Estrella, 19, of 9 Armstrong Ct., was arrested on charges of first-degree criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and violation of a protective order.

Estrella was unable to post a $10,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 4.
