Greenwich Traffic Alert: Central Greenwich Intersection Reopened After Crash
Motorists were advised to avoid the area until emergency crews cleared the scene.

The Greenwich Fire Department is reporting that the crash scene has been cleared and the intersection of East Elm Street and Milbank Avenue has been reopened to traffic.
Original story: 1:50 p.m.
Motorists should avoid the area of East Elm Street at Milbank Avenue.
The Greenwich Fire Department advises the intersection is closed because of an accident that occurred about 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
No word on whether anyone was injured in the crash.
The department and Greenwich emergency dispatchers advisea via Twitter, “Avoid area.”
