Greenwich Woman Faces Larceny Charge
The suspect is accused of stealing a package from a residence.

A Greenwich resident is facing a sixth-degree larceny charge in connection with the theft of a package from a Ridge Street residence.
The 47-year-old woman is accused of taking a package left at a Ridge Street residence about 8:30 a.m. Feb. 15, putting it into a shopping bag and walking down the street, according to a Greenwich Police report. The woman then deposited the package at another Ridge Street home, according to the report.
The report didn’t indicate what was inside the package.
Police arrested June V. Murphy of Locust Street. Murphy was released after posting a $60 bond and is scheduled to appear Feb. 22 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
