Greenwich Woman Wins $3 Million Prize From CT Lottery Game

GREENWICH, CT — Multiple Connecticut Lottery players claimed millions of dollars in prizes on Wednesday, including a woman from Greenwich.

The local resident, who says she's a regular scratch-off game player, won $3 million from the CT Lottery's "WIN BIG" game, according to an announcement from the organization.

The winning ticket was sold at the Shell station on West Putnam Avenue in Greenwich. Since the business is a CT Lottery retail partner, it will get a $30,000 bonus.

The CT Lottery website notes there are just three $3 million winners in the "WIN BIG" game. There are 2.6 million tickets of the game in existence. The ticket costs $30.
