Greenwich's Iconic Quaker Lane Farm To Go Back To Auction

GREENWICH, CT — Quaker Lane Farm, the equestrian compound in the Backcountry, will go back to auction, according to an update. The pending sale, which was reported earlier in October, did not go final.

Quaker Lane Farm, an iconic equestrian compound that spans three lots in Greenwichis pending sale for $13.1 million collectively, according to a news release from Sotheby’s Concierge Auctions.

The properties went to auction several weeks ago.

Sotheby’s announced that 38-48 Quaker Lane and 58 Quaker Lane were sold as a package offering. The properties were offered in cooperation with Danielle Claroni, Christian Perry, and Leslie McElwreath of Sotheby’s International Realty – Greenwich Brokerage.

The shingle-style main home at 58 Quaker Lane, which includes five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, was designed by award-winning architect Rich Granoff and built by Drake Builders, featuring a French Country kitchen, formal dining room, and elegant living spaces, Sotheby's said.

Outside, there is an infinity-edge pool, a guest cottage that doubles as a pool house, and lush landscaping including expansive fields, orchards, vegetable gardens, and a vineyard.

At 38-48 Quaker Lane, the secondary guest house spans nearly 6,600 square feet, offering five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a beautifully designed kitchen, family room, and entertainment area, Sotheby's said.

The grounds boast pristine pastures, orchards, an aviary, and world-class equestrian amenities including a 12-horse stable, a laser-leveled dressage arena with FootingFirst's dust-free blend, TravelRight footing, multiple paddocks, and a scenic viewing area, according to Sotheby's.

Together, Quaker Lane Farm spans over 16 acres with three distinct residences and a total of 11 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms.
