Harlem Wizards Basketball Team Coming To Greenwich: Details

GREENWICH, CT — The Harlem Wizards are coming to Greenwich for a night of basketball tricks, hoops and alley-oops.

Greenwich High School's senior class is bringing the team to GHS on Nov. 24 at 7 p.m. for a night of entertainment. The Wizards will play against Greenwich Public Schools staff and maybe some favorite Greenwich residents.

Doors open at 6 p.m., and tickets are on sale now. Those who want to volunteer at the event should contact senior class advisors Karen Ball and Sarah Meyers.

The Harlem Wizards were founded in 1962 by Howie Davis, who believed he could create a basketball show that was better than the iconic Harlem Globetrotters.
