The second floor includes three large ensuite bedrooms, a large primary bedroom with a fireplace, a dressing room and a walk-in closet. Also on the second floor is a home office, linen closets, "servant's wing," and three additional bedrooms with two full bathrooms.
The house was built by Edwin J. Beinecke, who was the president of Sperry & Hutchinson, the family business that made collectible stamps, the Wall Street Journal reported last week.
Barbara Robinson, the widow of Beinecke's grandson John Robinson, is selling the house as she downsizes to a smaller home in Greenwich, the WSJ said.
Peter Janis, of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, is the listing agent.
