In the short film, A Day in the Life, viewers are introduced to what it feels like to live in the Town of Mount Pleasant. The film captures the essence of this coastal community with its vibrant landscapes and the variety of activities available. It can be viewed on the Town of Mount Pleasant SC website, YouTube channel, Facebook, and Instagram profiles.
Kasdyn Click is featured briefly in the video, appearing at the 1:15 mark as a basketball coach.
Kasdyn has established relationships with high-profile clients in Connecticut, including the American Cancer Society, the City of Torrington, Flip Circus, Hillside Equestrian Meadows, Southington Elks Club, Paraco Gas, Post University, and countless others. Since founding A1 Portable Toilet, LLC in 2017, his company has provided services to over 1,300 construction job sites across Connecticut.
At the age of 18, Kasdyn graduated from Verona Area High School in 2012 in Verona, Wisconsin. Despite facing criticism from peers for not immediately pursuing college, he explained, “College is expensive, and if I’m going to attend, I need to know what to study so no money or time is wasted.”
After taking a year off to consider his future, Kasdyn realized he wanted to become a business owner. He had received three offers to play lacrosse in college and, once he decided to continue his education, reached out to a Connecticut lacrosse coach who had previously recruited him. At 19, Kasdyn moved to Connecticut and attended Post University, where he studied Accounting for the next four years.
While in college, Kasdyn owned and operated a snow plowing business with a fleet of seven vehicles. At 22, his contractor and property developer friends—many of whom were millionaires—began requesting portable toilet rentals for their job sites. By 23, he secured his first athletic event customer: a lacrosse tournament held at Bartlem Park in Cheshire. This customer had been referred to Kasdyn by a competitor who resided in Greenwich, Connecticut.
