In Memoriam: Michael 'Squirrel' Dest

Michael ‘Squirrel’ Dest, a lifelong resident of Greenwich and Stamford, died November 24, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 52.

He was the son of John and the late Linda Dest.

He is survived by his beloved wife Kristi, his father John, and siblings, John Dest and Patty Gambino. He was also the devoted uncle of Stephen and Christopher Dest, Jessica Gambino and Emma and Evan LaBott.

To honor his life, friends may call on Friday, Nov. 27 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich. Committal will be private.
