In Memoriam: Ralph A. Pastore Sr.

Ralph A. Pastore Sr., 73, passed away on December 29, 2015 as a result of complications from lung cancer.

He was born on February 12, 1942 in Greenwich, and raised by his grandparents Thomas and Geraldine Pagnotto Pastore.

He attended the Greenwich Public Schools and created a lifelong career in Grocery Management with A&P and DeCicco Markets.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, Connie, Anthony, Joseph, Lucy, Daniel and Fannie, along with a half-sister Maryann Langford of Spring TX. Mr. Pastore was also predeceased by his parents Anthony & Rachel Racaniello.

He is survived by his wife Roseann Bennette Pastore of Greenwich and his sons Ralph A. Pastore Jr., of Norwalk and Michael S. Pastore of Taghkanic, NY.

Visitation will be held at Castiglione Funeral Home, 544 Old Post Road #3, Greenwich, on Friday January 1, from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday January 2, at St. Roch’s Church at 10:00 am, Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, 399 North Street, Greenwich.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Ralph’s name to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital at www.StJude.org and Bendheim Cancer Center of Greenwich, at www.giving.greenhosp.org.
