Grammy Award Winner To Headline 2025 Greenwich Town Party, Main Stage Lineup Announced
The 2025 Greenwich Town Party is set to take place during Memorial Day Weekend.
GREENWICH, CT — Officials on Tuesday announced Alanis Morissette as the headliner for the 2025 Greenwich Town Party, which is set to take place at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park on Saturday, May 24, during Memorial Day Weekend. The full Main Stage lineup was also revealed.
Morissette rose to international fame with her third studio album, "Jagged Little Pill," which was released in 1995 and won five Grammy Awards including Album of the Year. The record, which was ranked 69th in 2021 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time, features hits such as "You Oughta Know," "Ironic" and "Hand in My Pocket."
In the years since, Morissette has released nine more studio albums, most recently "The Storm Before The Calm" in 2022.

Morissette returned to touring North America in 2022 and 2024.

Away from the studio, Morissette is an activist and advocate who focuses on female empowerment as well as spiritual, psychological and physical wholeness, an announcement from the GTP noted.

Eight-time Grammy Award winner Ziggy Marley - the eldest son of Bob Marley - will take the stage in Greenwich with his signature blend of reggae, funk, rock and blues. Ziggy Marley's career spans nearly 40 years, and his music explores issues from environmental awareness to self-empowerment.
New Orleans' Preservation Hall Jazz Band will also return to the Main Stage. The band has shared other festival stages with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Elvis Costello and the Grateful Dead, as well as modern artists such as My Morning Jacket, Arcade Fire and the Black Keys.
For the first time, the GTP will host entertainment geared toward children with an upbeat and enthusiastic performance from "Blippi: The Wonderful World Tour."
An announcement from the GTP noted that Blippi has millions of fans around the world and more than one billion monthly views across platforms such Netflix, HBO Max, Cartoonito, Sky, Amazon and YouTube. The show is for toddlers and young children.
The Town Stage will highlight five local bands who will be announced in the coming weeks.
"The Greenwich Town Party is the most highly sought after event of the year because it brings the Greenwich community together to share in a day of great music, food, and kids activities to kick off the summer on Memorial Day weekend," said GTP founder Ray Dalio in an announcement. "Our ultimate goal has always been to make it affordable for everyone and supported by contributions from those who want to be supportive."
The three-week, online ticket lottery for Community Tickets ended March 24 and winners were notified.
Neighbor tickets and Sponsor passes are currently available online and are expected to sell out. Neighbor tickets provide unlimited access to the Neighborhood Area with wine, beer and catered custom food from Best in Gourmet Catering for the day and night.
The Sponsor level offers unlimited access to the Sponsor Tent with catered food by Marcia Selden Catering and a full bar. Both levels have access to designated, premier parking.
Consistent with its policy since the event's inception, all GTP ticket levels may only be purchased by Greenwich residents, business owners and employees.
Several musical icons have performed at the Greenwich Town Party, such as Billy Joel, Eric Clapton, Mumford and Sons, The Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Zac Brown Band, Paul Simon, Buddy Guy, James Taylor, Carlos Santana, Hall & Oates, and Earth, Wind & Fire.
