Greenwich Police will have extra patrols on the road New Year's Eve.

Drive sober or get pulled over.

That’s the New Year’s Eve holiday message from Greenwich Police who are planning to have additional patrols in town for the holiday.

“Don’t drive drunk. Use Uber, Safe Rides or a sober friend to drive,” said Lt. Kraig Gray. “It’s a traditional holiday and it’s natural for people to go out and party hard. Just don’t drive … We will have additional patrols on the roads paid for with (state) grants.”
