GREENWICH, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we're working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.
This submission comes from Sue Moretti Bodson who nominated Penny Lore of Greenwich. Lore is a friend of Bodson's and works as the executive director of Parsonage Cottage Senior Residence in Greenwich.

Relationship to nominee: Our boys went to school together.
Reason for recognition: Penny has been the executive director of Parsonage Cottage Senior Residence for nearly 20 years. She treats every resident like they are a member of her own family because there are. She is always thinking of creative ways to improve their quality of life.
One thing to know: Penny goes above and beyond for Parsonage Cottage. This is not just a job for her! Penny says that the people make a difference and her staff and Board see to it that the residents enjoy life to the fullest!
