Michael Robert Kristoff, 57, passed away unexpectedly on April 4, 2024 in Stamford, CT.

Michael was a loving father, son, brother, and friend. He loved to laugh and enjoyed making others laugh. He was big-hearted and quick-witted, and he loved trading movie one-liners. He loved to cook and dreamed of one day owning a food truck. He was a lifelong fan of the Mets and the Jets (we’ll get ‘em next year!). He had a strong work ethic, was a skilled tradesman, and took pride in doing a good job. He was an avid gambler and was lucky to win at least one nice jackpot along the way. (He swears that the number 222 is due to hit any day now. You’re welcome.) Although he resided in Stamford, Byram will always be his home.

Michael had a special relationship with his mother and never quite recovered from her passing in 1989. He also enjoyed a special relationship with his grandfather (Paco) and Uncle Bobby.

Above all else, Michael loved his daughters, Anne and Tylar, beyond measure and was so proud of the wonderful young women that they have become. He was so grateful to be able to watch his daughter Anne graduate from college and to be a part of Tylar’s wedding to Seth. He was very grateful to the entire extended McSpadden Family for looking out for his girls. He can rest easy knowing that his daughters have an unbreakable bond.
