Old Greenwich Home Explosion Case Heading to Trial

The house explosion case will be heard in court.

GREENWICH--A resident who is faced with sparking a house and garage fire in an Old Greenwich home last March will be heading to court.

According to a report in the Greenwich Time, Henry Calam, 45, of Greenwich, will face a judge and jury at a court trial.

Calam is accused of allegedly causing an explosion and fire, resulting in over $140,000 in damages, to the home he was renting. He was working on a go-cart when paint fumes in the garage ignited, the Greenwich Time reports.
