Patch's Poll: Do You Still Send Christmas Cards?

Fewer and fewer seem to wind up in the mailbox every year.

 

In the last decade, the sale of Christmas cards has pretty much gone in the opposite direction as the number of people joining Facebook.

One mom told WRAL.com that she used to spend a long time finding just the right family photo.

"I realized that everyone I want to send cards to is on my Facebook account, so they've seen all the pictures I've taken all year long," Stacey Mark said.

Postage has also gone up significantly over the years, which makes the prospect of sending out thick batches of cards a pricey one.
