Police Have Clues on Greenwich Apple Store Heist
Greenwich Police say they are reviewing in-store security video of the incident.

Greenwich Police say they are reviewing “cutting edge theft detection technology” in their investigation into the theft of four laptops from the Apple Store on Greenwich Avenue.
It was in the afternoon of Monday, Jan. 4 that at least two men entered the store and “defeated” the security system that holds displays of equipment on display counters.
The men fled with what Greenwich Police said was at least “four laptop computers” from the store at 359 Greenwich Ave.

On Thursday, police spokesman Lt. Kraig Gray said that the value of the computer equipment was “in the thousands of dollars.”
Gray added, “Apple has cutting edge technology for the detection of its stolen property and merchandise.” He said that investigators are reviewing security video in an attempt to identify the thieves.

Gray would not elaborate but said police are continuing their investigation.
