Popular Children's Author Melissa Guion to Hold Workshop in Greenwich
The author/illustrator of 'Baby Penguins Everywhere!' will host a discussion with children, book signing at Sacred Heart Greenwich.
Author and illustrator Melissa Guion will visit Sacred Heart Greenwich next weekend.
On Saturday, Jan. 9, Sacred Heart Greenwich will host the event for children ages 4 to 7 to join Guion, author and illustrator of Baby Penguins Everywhere! and Baby Penguins Love Their Mama!
Children will be able to spend the morning with the author, beginning at 10 a.m., at the school — located at 1177 King St. — for a book reading, penguin drawing demonstration, art project, and book signing.

Guion’s debut picture book, Baby Penguins Everywhere!, was selected for the 2012 Original Art exhibition at the Society of Illustrators in New York City.
At Sacred Heart Greenwich, Guion will lead children in an art project to advance their sense of fun in collaborating with others. She will discuss penguin facts and her books’ themes, which include growth and learning.
