Preschool Program Lottery Application Posted For Greenwich Public Schools
Enrollment is determined through a lottery system and spaces are limited.
GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich Public Schools invite children who reside in Greenwich and will turn at least 3 years old before Sept. 1, 2026, to apply to the GPS Integrated Preschool Program for the 2026-2027 school year. The program targets instruction for children with identified special needs alongside their typically developing peers.
"Our inclusive, tuition-based program provides a nurturing and engaging learning environment where children build confidence, curiosity, and foundational skills that prepare them for kindergarten and beyond," the GPS district said in a news release.
"Classrooms are housed in seven of our elementary schools across the district: Cos Cob, Hamilton Avenue, Julian Curtiss, New Lebanon, North Street, Old Greenwich, and reopening at Parkway. Each classroom follows the same research-based curriculums and is guided by the Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards to best support both 3 and 4 year old students."
