Questions Arise Over Elimination Of Flex Time At Greenwich HS: Report
The Board of Education reportedly voted in the spring to eliminate flex time in the current school year.
GREENWICH, CT — Has the elimination of flex time at the end of the school day at Greenwich High School been a negative? A student seems to think so.
At a recent Board of Education meeting, junior Hadrian Nobay said that the elimination of the 25 minutes from 2:50 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. has resulted in a loss of community at the school, the Greenwich Time reported.
The board voted in the spring to eliminate the short period, and instead made all classes 55 minutes, with the end of the school day now at 2:55 p.m., according to the publication.
