Susan A. Figgie, 44, died May 23, 2025; a dedicated disability advocate and compelling public speaker, she was known for her activism in Hartford, spirited dancing, and commitment to nonprofit causes.

Margaret Chernek, 103, died May 22, 2025; a lab technician for 42 years at the Lifesaver’s plant in Port Chester, she was active in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Byram and the Sokol Union Club.

Gregory Allan Beaurline, 63, died May 16, 2025; a Greenwich High School graduate, he worked for several local businesses including Pizza Hut and Abilis, enjoyed dancing, singing, and swimming competitively in the Special Olympics.

Paul Stephen Campion, 88, died May 16, 2025; a Trinity College graduate and Wall Street professional with Shearson Lehman and Smith Barney, he was an avid golfer, enthusiastic cook, and longtime volunteer with a deep interest in language and sports.

Joan M. (Pottgen) Truscello, 88, died May 16, 2025; she worked over 35 years at Arnold Bakeries and enjoyed conversation, phone calls, and visiting with friends.

Russell Thomas Rigg, 82, died May 16, 2025; he worked for several companies before becoming a Catholic deacon in 2008, serving multiple parishes, and spent his free time golfing, following the NY Yankees, and vacationing at Indian Lake.

Audrey Lathrup Hadcock, 98, died May 12, 2025; she earned a B.A. in Speech Therapy from Michigan State and dedicated her life to volunteer work and community leadership in both Connecticut and New Hampshire.

Barbara Elliott Weeden, 97, died May 6, 2025; she worked in publishing and television production, later as an art consultant and museum docent, and throughout her life pursued acting, horseback riding, painting, travel, and arts advocacy.

William “Skip” Dwight Shaw Jr., 79, died May 3, 2025; he had a decades-long career in finance including leadership roles at Bear Stearns, Lanston & Co., and Mariner Investment Group, served on multiple financial advisory boards, and enjoyed summers in Nantucket, skiing, golf, biking, music, backgammon, and cheering for the 49ers.
