Rocco Ceci, 89, died on March 3, 2025; born on Feb 1, 1936, in Rose, Calabria, Italy, he worked as a shoemaker and machinist, concluding his career at Pitney Bowes, and enjoyed traveling, dancing, walking, playing cards at his Italian club, and visiting Italy and Argentina.
Joseph “Joe” Bologna, 92, died on March 1, 2025; a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, he owned Bologna Plumbing and Heating for over 25 years, loved his family and enjoyed golfing, boating, maintaining his home, and spending summers at the beach, and retired to Florida where he won a club championship and recorded a hole-in-one.

Michael Hopkinson Adair, 86, died on Feb. 28, 2025; a U.S. Marine Corps Captain and expert sharpshooter, he had a distinguished career in advertising before becoming a history and economics teacher at Greenwich Academy, was devoted to his family, enjoyed storytelling and personified love and kindness.
James Joseph “Jim” Aquilina, 84, died on Feb. 27, 2025; an electrical engineer who contributed to the Hubble Space Telescope and HEXAGON reconnaissance satellites, he was an expert in pigeon racing, a youth sports coach, Mustang enthusiast, and lottery aficionado known for his humor and mechanical skill.

Marilyn Barbara Sobeski, 94, died on Feb. 25, 2025; a former switchboard operator and administrator, she was active in Sacred Heart parish, Byram Veterans Women’s club, voter registration, and community organizations, enjoyed bowling, traveling, and family gatherings, and took great joy in attending her grandchildren’s activities.
