Reckless Driving in Greenwich Leads to Man's Arrest
The suspect told police he was upset after arguing with a sibling.

A 24-year-old man is facing several motor vehicle charges after Greenwich Police found driving in “a reckless manner” on East Putnam Avenue.
When police stopped the man near Laddins Rock Road about 9:35 a.m. Feb. 6, he told officers “he was driving recklessly because he was upset about an argument he had with his brother,” according to a Greenwich Police report.
The driver, identified as Michael A. Pavarini, of Cove Road, Stamford, was charged with traveling unreasonably fact, reckless driving, failure to obey a control signal, first-degree reckless endangerment, and three counts each of failure to drive in proper lane and unsafe backing.
Pavarini was initially unable to post a $1,000 bond. At his arraignment in state Superior Court in Stamford, the bond was posted and he is scheduled to return to court on Feb. 18, according to the Connecticut Judicial Branch website.
