Work is set to begin April 1 and is expected to be completed in December, according to the CT Department of Transportation.
GREENWICH, CT — The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced a lengthy Merritt Parkway repaving project that will take place between Exit 27 and Exit 33 in Greenwich.
According to CT-DOT, the project is set to begin on Tuesday, April 1, and is expected to be completed in December. Work is scheduled to take place from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday.
"The Route 15 section mainline is scoped to include milling and then paving to maintain existing roadway elevations. The roadway will have an overlay that will extend the lifespan of the wearing surface," CT-DOT said in a recent announcement. "Specific curves along the mainline roadway will have a High Friction Surface Treatment to help reduce accidents in those areas. Ramps are included in the work and will require temporary detours during the work."
