Road Closures Announced For Greenwich's July 4 Fireworks Displays
The town's annual Independence Day Fireworks Displays are scheduled for Saturday.

GREENWICH, CT — The two annual Independence Day Fireworks Displays in Greenwich, scheduled for Saturday, will result in temporary road closures, according to Greenwich police.
Binney Park Fireworks: 9:10 PM – 9:30 PM (approximately)
Tod’s Point Fireworks: 9:35 PM – 9:55 PM (approximately)

The rain date for both events is scheduled for Sunday.
According to Greenwich police, parking and traffic restrictions will be in effect at both locations. At Tod’s Point, parking will be limited to designated lots only, and roadway parking is prohibited.

"Once the park is full or at 8:30 PM, it will be deemed closed to all vehicular traffic," authorities wrote on Facebook (see below).
Vehicles will not be allowed to proceed further than the intersection of Shore Road at Nawthorne Road for the Tod's Point event, and Wesskum Wood Road will be closed during the Binney Park event.
"Other roads may be redirected by police as needed," authorities said. "Parks will close immediately following the displays."
