Sound Beach Avenue Bridge Will Be Closed Tuesday; Detour In Effect

This work is part of a crucial project to replace a deteriorating bridge used by approximately 14,500 vehicles daily.

GREENWICH, CT — The Sound Beach Avenue bridge in Old Greenwich will be closed Tuesday, Sept. 27 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for bridge culvert installation work, according to the Greenwich Department of Public Works.

Vehicles will be detoured to Harding Road and Forest Avenue, and pedestrians will continue to be routed through Binney Park.
