Thieves Swipe Laptops from Greenwich Apple Store
The daytime heist happened Monday afternoon.

At least two thieves swiped a number of laptop computers from the Apple Store on Greenwich Avenue by “defeating the locking mechanisms” Monday afternoon, according to Greenwich Police.
On Monday afternoon, “at least two suspects described as black males entered the store, defeated the locking mechanism to four laptops as display models then took four of those laptops,” according to police spokesman Lt. Kraig Gray.
“The subjects left without any confrontation with store employees or customers,” Gray said.

Greenwich detectives “are following up several leads,” Gray added.
The exact time the theft occurred and the value of the missing laptops was not immediately available.
