Time to Pay the Tax Man

If you haven’t checked the calendar, the tax man has cometh!

The deadline to pay Greenwich real estate, personal property and motor vehicle taxes is Monday, Feb. 1, before interest is attached.

Tax Information for 2016 can be viewed by going to the Tax Collector page on the Town of Greenwich website and clicking the green button – view or pay taxes – in the center of the page.

The second installment of Real Estate Taxes for Grand List October 1, 2014 and Supplemental Motor Vehicle Taxes were due January 1, 2016.

Residents may pay online with a credit card or electronic check (ACH/EFT). They also can view and print their information. Paying online adds a convenience fee that is charged by the processing company for providing that service.

Residents also pay in person, with a check or cash, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Town Hall at the Office of the Tax Collector or mail your payment to:

Tax Collector, Town of Greenwich, PO Box 3002, Greenwich, CT 06836-3002. Mailed payments must show a postmark of Feb. 1, 2016, to be considered on time.
