Use of High Beams Leads to DWI Arrest in Greenwich
Police say the driver was arrested after failing sobriety tests.

The driver who Greenwich Police said was stopped because he was driving with his high beams illuminated about 2 a.m. Saturday, is facing a driving while intoxicated charge.
The 34-year-old was stopped in the 200 block of Byram Road at 2:06 a.m. Feb. 6. Police wrote in their report that “it was believed the operator was intoxicated based on his speech, demeanor, red and glassy eyes, and detection of the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath.”
The driver, identified as Enrique Reyes, of Glen Avenue, Port Chester, NY, also failed field sobriety tests, according to the report.
In addition to the DWI charge, Reyes was ticketed for improper use of high beams. Reyes was unable to post a $250 bond. He is scheduled to appear Feb. 16 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
