Groton Bar Has Liquor License Temporarily Suspended

A Groton bar paid a fine and will have its liquor license suspended for two days next month due to violations, according to the state.

GROTON, CT — A Groton establishment was fined and will have its liquor license suspended for two days next month, according to the state Department of Consumer Protection's Liquor Control Commission.

Richoni's on Poquonnock Road paid a $1,500 fine. The establishment will have its liquor license suspended Nov. 12 and 13.

The Liquor Control Commission listed the following violations: conduct of permit premise, conduct of permit premises — permitee strictly accountable, permitee responsible for action of employee or agent, and hours and days of closing.
