Florence graduated from Robert E. Fitch Sr High school and had retired as the assistant town clerk for the Town of Groton.
Pat enjoyed running, including running 5 marathons; East Lyme 2x, NYC 2x and beloved Marine Corps in 1989 where she received a silver medal.

She will be missed by not only family members, but the friends and co-workers that have met her throughout the years.
Irene was a graduate of New London High School and worked for many years at Sheffield Tube in New London.
She attended school in Montville and Ledyard, and had been manager of the XtraMart in Westbrook for several years.
Ed served in the United States Navy and later went on to work at Electric Boat as an inside machinist.
She was always trying to help others and quite often would take in friends in need of help.
Joan and her husband enjoyed travelling, especially taking their children and grandchildren to Disney World numerous times.
Mark was a driver in the trucking industry.
Dr. Soriano was a psychiatrist in Groton and had been in practice in Connecticut for more than 50 years.
Bob enjoyed playing saxophone in his band in his earlier years and was an avid boater throughout his entire life.
Her most cherished role in life was as a mother and grandmother, and she will be greatly missed by her family, who she always put first.
John was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and had worked at Electric Boat Company.
She traveled widely and had special training in psychiatric nursing.
