Groton Man Charged With Selling Crack Cocaine
Arrest at Midway Oval was the result of an ongoing narcotics investigation in the Poquonnock Bridge area.

A 29-year-old Groton man was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of selling crack cocaine and other drug charges after a narcotics investigation, Groton Town Police said.
Timothy Hughley, of 17 Midway Oval in Groton, was charged with two counts of sale of crack cocaine, two counts of sale of crack cocaine within 1,500 feet of a school, three counts of possession of narcotics, three counts of possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia within 1,500 feet of a school and illegal storage of a controlled substance.
He is being held on a $100,000 bond, and is scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court Thursday.

His arrest was the result of an ongoing investigation in the Poquonnock Bridge Section of town, a police news release said.
The Groton Narcotics Unit was assisted by the Statewide Narcotics Task Force in executing a search warrant at the house on Midway Oval.
