Groton Pub To Have Liquor License Temporarily Suspended

The establishment also paid a fine due to violations, according to a state agency.

GROTON, CT — A Groton pub paid a fine and will have its liquor license temporarily suspended, according to documents from the state Department of Consumer Protection's Liquor Control Commission.

Captain's at 924 Route 12 B has paid a $1,500 fine. The establishment will have its license suspended Jan. 27 and 28.

The suspension resolves the following violations, according to the state: failure to cooperate, conduct of permit premises - brawls, disturbances, conduct of permit premises - permitee strictly accountable, permitee responsible for actions of employee or agent.
