New Pickleball, Tennis Courts Finished In Groton

GROTON, CT — Six pickleball courts and four tennis courts have opened at Washington Park, according to the City of Groton.

"We do ask that ALL rules that are posted be respected so that everyone can enjoy this beautiful upgrade to the City of Groton Parks & Recreation Department's facility," the City of Groton posted on its Facebook page.

Washington Park is located on Meridian Street next to the City of Groton Municipal Building.

The 32.9-acre park also includes three baseball fields, two softball fields, playground equipment, tennis courts, outdoor fitness circuit, volleyball area, two full-length basketball courts and outdoor pavilions, according to the city's website.
